Broccolini, a cross between broccoli and Chinese broccoli, also referred to as brocolette, sweet baby broccoli, asparation, bimi, brocoletti, brocolis, Italian sprouting broccoli, and Tenderstem.

Rich source of vitamin C and also contains vitamin A, vitamin E, calcium, folate, iron and potassium.

Boiling broccolini reduces the levels of sulforaphane. However, steaming, microwaving and stir frying does not appear to have any effect on the compound.
