Consumption of fruits and vegetables appears to reduce the risk of renal cell carcinoma

In April 2017 researchers from China published the results of their review of the medical scientific literature to assess the association between consumption of fruits and vegetables and risk of renal cell carcinoma. A total of 19 studies involving 10,215 individuals with renal cell carcinoma were included in the review.  Results showed that consumption of vegetables and fruits appeared to reduce the risk of renal cell carcinoma.
