Strawberries and honey may be effective in preventing oxidative stress and inflammation

In January 2020 researchers from Italy, China and Spain published their review of the medical and scientific literature to assess the effects of strawberries and honey on oxidative stress and inflammation. Available studies reported that both strawberry and honey polyphenols appeared to prevent oxidative stress, and thereby inflammation. However published reports are still scarce so further research is required to assess the effects of these foods following digestion.
