Anxiety appears to occur more frequently in overweight and obese individuals than those with a normal weight

A total of 25 studies were included in the review. Results showed that anxiety appeared to occur more frequently in overweight and obese individuals than those with a normal weight. However it was noted that there was a degree of bias in the articles included in the review.
